KUALA LUMPUR: A 17-year-old girl was gang raped by five men, including her boyfriend, when she followed him home to Kepong at midnight on Saturday.
Her ordeal began when she went with her boyfriend, whom she had only befriended few weeks earlier, to a restaurant in the city to have supper.
Afterwards, the boyfriend, in his early 20s, convinced her to go home with him as he wanted to change clothes.
There they were joined by four men, all friends of the boyfriend.
They started making advances at the girl; when she refused, she was dragged into a room and gang raped.
After her ordeal, one of the men intimidated her against lodging a report, claiming he was a policeman.
She was dropped off at Taman Shamelin, Cheras several hours later, after which she walked five kilometres home to the Pudu Ulu low-cost flats.
